ike
The aerosmith coaster is smooth? 0-65 in .5 sec is VERY smooth  586212473 Actually it's "4 or 5 seconds" according to this: http://www.rocknrollercoaster.com/faq.html Have you actually been on it? The start is fast, but it doesn't make it any less smooth. Besides, what I meant by smooth is that during the ride there's no sharp turns or anything too jerky. Of course, that's just my opinion but I have been on it a fair number of times--I live 20 mins away :D Edit: This page says 57 MPH in 2.8 seconds, which seems closer to the numbers I remember seeing before. hotdog666al
If you have a condition like that.... It's your own fault if you go on one of those rides.
+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted July 14, 2005 Subscriber² Share Posted July 14, 2005 This is the thing. You take the throughput of DisneyWorld, and just get that many people to walk in a circle - likelihood is 2 will die or something. I mean, Pirates Of The Carribean is a tame ride and can in no way be attributed to the death.
m_cochegrus
I've been to all 3 rides and none of them are dangerous at all. As someone said earlier, if you have health problems, don't ride them. One thing I like about Disney is that all of their rides are very secury, security is #1 issue in Disney and Universal Sutdios.

AppleDave Veteran Posted July 18, 2005 Veteran Share Posted July 18, 2005 What's wierd is that I was at MGM the day that this happened last week, what's even wierder is that that same day we decided to go to the new stunt show instead of the Tower of Terror, which I had never ridden. InternalStorm
DO NOT go to ANY rides if you have ANY health problems PERIOD. :(I think every amusement parts should put out a sign WARNING people with health problems. 586209002 They do usually have signs with all the information. Heart problems, diabetics, pregnant women, etc. should not go on rides. It's common sense but they have to cover their asses too..
Takhisis
Who's to say the girl wouldn't have had the problem if she hadn't been on the ride. She could have had the attack at home in front of the TV.

ed_the_sock
DO NOT go to ANY rides if you have ANY health problems PERIOD. :(I think every amusement parts should put out a sign WARNING people with health problems. 586209002 there have been multiple signs posted before entering the ride area, while entering the ride area, and inside the ride area warning against riding if you have certain conditions such as heart palpatations, previous strokes and/or heartattacks, if you are pregnant, diabetic, have blood pressure problems....the list goes on and on, with as many warnings as large amusement parks have, this can hardly make this particular disney theme park to blame. some health problems are not a big deal, if i have a paper cut, i think i'll still be safe, but please people, dont disregard the warning signs!!! theres nothing better to do while waiting than to read and review them!!! the_snitch
Like most poeple said, You cant blame disneyland for this. I think sgutting it down to be investigated is a bit over the top aswell - Kind of ruins the fun for those who are visiting Disneyland for a once in their lifetime experience, and its shut down  If the ride malfunctioned somehow and caused the girl to get a heart attack, now that would be Disneyland's fault. P.s. it doesnt say anything really about the Girl's condition. She could be overweight, and got the heart attack from all the Churro's she had eaten that day
revvo
DO NOT go to ANY rides if you have ANY health problems PERIOD. :(I think every amusement parts should put out a sign WARNING people with health problems. 586209002 High-sensations have a sign at the entrance. People just don't read em.Maybe they gotta have like blinking lights with a robotic arm that grabs you by the testicles and says "READ ME BEFORE U MIGHT DIE"
