Eminem to make his final Singing Performance ever

he's no better than the same boy/girl bands he so lavishly dissed a few years back.

You dont know how much I admire that post right now. (Y)

But be careful because it seems that for some people stating opinions contrary to them is "trolling"

wel i for one liked his music, it was rude and at the same time to many people it seemed like it was pop, but i must admit he was good. He could flow to any beat that was ever invented, or that he ever rapped to. I know he will still be a guest on other peoples albums, just like Jay Z is doing, there's nothing wrong with that, and im sure he'll be making at least one more album in the future, and i'll be waiting for it. I liked his music ever since i saw him on the screen, he's a good rapper and is good that he's leaving when he's at the top of his game, good luck to him as a producer hopefully we'll hear from him again.

oh at btw, [sanctified] you got me hooked on Tool, which i thank you for...

man it's about time (if it's even true) i used to actually like eminem, but i noticed since the marshall mathers lp he went pop, his ryhmes radio friendly, and every lilk white kid in sub-urban america bumping that ish like he was the greatest thing to happen to "hip-hop"

infinte was an amazing lp when compared to encore makes it look like mainstream garbage... seriously unfit to be classified as hip hop. this is were i stop before i get really nasty. but just so everyone knows he is the worst thing to happen to hip hop since finding fifty cent...........to think i used to like his music :pinch:

EDIT: I liten to NOThing but the finest hip hop and consider myself sort of a connasouier so if anybody is interested in GOOD DECENT HIP HOP PM ME AND I WILL THROW YOU SOME "NAMes" ;)

Looks like you make quite an impression in the media forums sanctified :p

Eminem had some great songs. Some of them were like listening to death metal rap style  it won't change much for me but; finally!

pull out while he's ahead? no f---ing way. Encore was an absolute peice of trash compared to his previous two CDs. If i was him, i'd make another album, something worth while then leave3 the scene... i wouldnt wanna go out when the best song on my cd talks about "TP for my bunghole"

Good to see he's happy with where he's at, adn gonna go out. I liked some of his songs because he actually spoke from the heart, not liek the "rappers" right now who only talk about bling, imped out cars, sex, and booze. While I had some disagreements with Em, he was okay in my book. Hope he finds great endevours as a producer. :)

I don't understand how people can insult him The way he meshes words together and flows right through some of the toughest rhymes possible is just a thing of beauty and is a true form of art. He isn't the greatest person in the world, but his talent is unrivaled.

I'll agree with you here. He has some serious skill.

But that last album sucked donkey balls.

Too bad; would have liked to have seen him live.

As with a lot of people here I like his earlier stuff up to The Eminem Show, but Encore is just awful - it is mainly cheese pop, with crude ideas and poorly developed songs; sure there is decent stuff there, but as a whole it is awful.

His talent is by no means "unrivaled" - talent includes knowing where to stop and how to maintain your integrity as an artist. I feel Eminem has lost his integrity by continuing with uninspired, drained music... that is a sad because the best of his stuff puts a lot of other artists to shame.

Not my kind of music, but at least he was a better white rapper than vanilla ice :)

Sad how you have these anti-rap trolls come here and insult an artist who they have only heard at most, 2 songs of. I would love to see how people would like if I would go to the rock threads on this forum and say how rock is "suicidal" and bad for teens. If you do not like Eminem, then don't come here and post your hatred towards the guy and insult him saying he sucks. He is one hell of a talented guy.
