wutang01
Ok, I'm using Deer Park Alpha 2 atm ... and I can't seem to be able to get rid of this half-installed theme ... <see attached pic> It's because I'm on 56k ... and it couldn't continue downloading ... Anyone know how to get rid of this? Thanks in advance ~
OMEGA_RAZER
dont know but it's done that with some extensions for me..... same reason too :p
:B: Rex
i havent tried the deer park versions but im sure its like the previous versions.. the theme is in a hidden folder, either enable "view hidden files" to see or just use the explorer address bar to navigate to the hidden folders C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxx.default\extensions the extension folder has a bunch of folders with numbers like {9c40c66f-d4ed-11d9-946c-00e08161165f} etc, etc.. go thru each numbered folder and open the chrome folder that is inside this will contain a .jar file, look for your theme name some will be extensions and some will be themes just delete the numbered folder that contains the theme files i have 30+ numbered folders in here so it takes a little time to go thru each one but you will find it
wutang01
That's weird ... it's not there ... There are no hidden folders/files in "q96akyns.default" Is it possible to do a remove Deer Park perfectly (ie no trace of Mozilla) so I can do a clean reinstall? :B: Rex
the hidden files i was talking about are the "application data" files, once your in there then things arent hidden but inside your profile "q96akyns.default" should be several folders including one named "extensions" inside that one are all the separate numbered folders for each extension/theme this is how it is in normal Firefox.. as i said i dont use the "beta" versions, only the official releases and try making a new profile before you re-install.. just delete it
