Pete Zaria
Good evening, Neowin! Looking for someone who knows a fair amount about home audio systems. I have a nice pair of 1982 EPI speakers rated for 500W each. I'm going to have them re-coned this week to bring them back to original sound quality. These speakers each have two 10" subwoofers built in. See link: http://www.humanspeakers.com/cgi-bin/model...=e/epi-a500.htm My problem is, my current amp (a 500w Pioneer) is setup to use an external subwoofer, and therefor won't feed much bass signal to these speakers, wasting their bass capacity. So, I'm looking for a new amp. My price range is no more than $350, but I don't mind something slightly used. Could anyone recommend a good home theater amp to drive these speakers under $350? Thanks a ton for any help. Peace, Pete Zaria.
