SISO
Not exactly abtm, I'm sure they aren't done sending out all of the invites so for those who haven't gotten chosen there is still hope. Of course, what do I know?
pzykotic
Last night, I was included in the first wave of invitations. Although I did somewhat expect to be, not to sound arrogant but I've been testing since ...perhaps Windows Millennium Edition (or thereabouts). Congratulations to those who were invited. To those of you who were NOT selected, better like in Beta 2 and Beta 3 (if it comes). Just to make Guru jealous (like he attempted to do to everyone else here). I'll go post the tests I've been in. Windows XP Windows XP SP1/SP2 MSN Messenger (6.2-current) Windows Server 2003 R2 Windows Server 2003 (SP1) Office 2000/2003 (I don't count ME because it was a lousy O/S to say the least)
pzykotic
I'm pretty sure there will be more. Just saying, if you don't get picked -- there's still hope later on.

Poof
Who gives a s**t about which betas you were enrolled...Oh, btw, I was in for Windows Update 4, 5 and Microsoft Update 6, Office 2003, WinXP SP2, and in for Longhorn... oooooh, I feel so proud, I think I'm gonna wet my pants... (pathetic) 586236367 Well, Microsoft is the person that gives a crap... He was giving that example so that the person knew how he applied.. He didn't! He was just sent a "Hey, join this beta" from Microsoft from his other betas... Lucky him. =) ~

mikeshy_cn
I was beta tester for windows SP2 and windows server 2003  586236350 Windows XP Sp2 seemed to be an important sweeptakers for longhorn BT. I should've applied for that one.
GeeZuZz
Stupid question, but where do you send a request to be beta tester? I saw some link once, but that required an invite id... I signed up for about a year ago, but guess what - i was selected as a beta tester for windows update - is that like the most uninteresting beta project or what? :/
