Basically if you work for a retail store or something of the sort, you can sign up for Intels 'Retail Edge' site. You take quizzes about their products and earn chips. At the end of the year, if you have enough chips you have the chance to buy a ( last year at least this is what they had ) cpu + motherboard + oem copy of xp pro, all for a very good price ( ie last year I got my 3.4GHz P4, an Intel motherboard ( can't remember what one ) that supported PCI-E and DDR2, and the copy of XP Pro all for $200.
