Firefox 1.0.6 disabled all my extensions?

Recommended Posts

when i updated to firefox 1.0.6, after the install it told me that all of my previously installed extensions had been disabled. (thanks for the big heads up mozilla  )

how can i "re-enable" them?

i dont want to re-download, install, and re-configure 10 extensions.

They're disabled because they're not compatible (or at least the extension developers say they aren't compatible) with FF 1.0.6. I think all your settings and everything are saved - they're just disabled until an update is issued by the extension author that's compatible with that version of FF.

according to firefox there is no updates available... for any of them, still...

im pretty sure all of them are compatible, firefox just disables ALL extensions with this install, "in the event" that they would not be compatible.

When you upgrade to a new version of Firefox all of your Extensions and Themes will be disabled until Firefox determines that either a) they are compatible with the new release or b) there are newer versions available that are compatible.

way to go mozilla for hiding this on your website and not informing when when the pos program autoupdates (by default i may add!!)!!!!!!

ive been using firefox since the beta stages and never once had this issue untill this version, why should i expect that this would happen now with out you telling me?

i would have never upgraded in the first place had i known.

Point less quote anyway, can you list the extensions and I will check they are the latest version.

Try unistalling it and the removing folder, it will not remove your extensions though. You will have to remove your profile folder to do that, if you do you will loose everything.
