Need a new mouse

Recommended Posts

My right hand is really starting to hurt, im not sure if its due to my mouse or too much computer usage...I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. Would a different mouse stop the pain? I am also need a different keyboard later on because my fingers are starting to hurt...I have the Microsoft Internet Pro keyboard. What do you suggest getting to stop the pain? I also would like a 4 or 5 button mouse that is optical and the keyboard should have those quick buttons on it that the internet pro keyboard has.

mouse and keyboard sound great...i wouldn't get rid of them if i were you, but if they are in any decent shape, and are fairly new i'll be happy to buy them for you to take this 'pain' off your hands ;).

Honestly, if it was me, I'd go to the doctor before I went to buy new hardware. You don't want to end up with Carpel Tunnel Syndrome!

yeap better go to the doctor!

it's strange you have these pains... i spend a lot of time at the computer and was a maniac some years ago and i never got any pains regardless of the mouse or keyboard i used

get the newer verision of the optical(3.0), i find it much more comfortable. if your problem persists, dude, see a doctor.

i recommend the ms optical wheel mouse. it does not have as much functionality as the intellimouse explorer, but it is comfortable for me, anyway. as far as the keyboard goes, i thought that keyboard was supposed to be better for your wrists anyway. :s
