Really hard? That is a good start button! I've been using the black style for a few days now, hunting for bugs and it's a surprisingly clean and usable theme. One of the very few black themes that work.

I couldn't agree more! This start button is amazing! Very very beautiful!

This theme will blow people's minds for quite some time until Vista is released. I don't think we need more themes after this (I mean that we don't need other people's, but of course we could use more of em3's work in the future :))

Thanks Dazzla, welcome back. :D Haven't seen you for a while.

Yeah, I agree, haven't seen him in a while.

Good to have you in em3's topics Dazzla, very good :)

^ Yea. It can't be fixed without destroying the Vista look. So I desided to keep the Vista look and ignore the bugs.

Another thing, any chance of mousedowns on the vertical and horizontal trackbars?

I know I'm being a bit picky, but this has the potential to be one of the best themes ever released for XP. Stylish, usable, bug free.

I'd rather have a theme without bugs, even if this means making it a bit less beautiful. I agree with Dazzla, I want to have a bug free theme.

If you want me to make the progressbar bug free the only thing that would be acceptable to me is blockstyle.

My opinion: the smooth progressbars are better, even though there's the bug of having a small part of it show.

One thing I wondered for a long time: in the default XP Luna VS, it is possible to have BOTH types of progress bars - smooth and sectioned. It's up to the programmers to decide which style to use.

I haven't seen a VS so far that uses both styles. Well if LE4 could implement this, then great.

Oh and thanks for correcting that toolbar separator bug.

After this is finished, you should consider doing a WindowBlind skin complete with all the LE styles up to this point. Your prolly capable of alot more than what the limited msstyles engine can let you show.

Any chance of the color change in the start menu I suggested a few pages back?

Well, I came up with an alternative. Let's see what you and other people think. I like it.

I modified some values, and now the progress bar goes solid in programs where it's needed (like BitTorrent ^_^), and it goes blockstyle in some random ones (IE stays blockstyle, but in Firefox it's solid, so I don't know what's the rule). What matters is that it gets beautiful every way, and then the bug is gone. What do you people think?

    • They want Ring 0 access. Should be a hard no. A middle ground needs to be found.
