Dutch_guy
Why don`t you burn the ISO on a DVD and boot with it?

Ghostdraconi
I'm not sure of the reason but if you extract the iso it will not work. Probably has to do with their new install method
tubster
dont have DVD writer :\ 586286345[/snapback] I had the same problem. I used alcohol120 and created a virtual dvd drive. It loaded perfectly from the virtual drive. I later found out you burn the iso file directly to the dvd rom, do not extract the iso file. Just burn it to the dvd. Reboot and load from the dvd. Xav
Installation from a virtual drive works fine as the installer copies all the files to the disc during the first phase of setup - as long as you're installing on a partition other thant the one on which XP resides... NetRyder
Yeah, I set up Vista on a second partition by mounting the DVD ISO in Daemon Tools. Worked perfectly. :) If you want to install it as the only OS on a blank drive, you can follow this guide: http://www.extended64.com/blogs/rafael/arc...07/31/1097.aspx
