nForce 2 Network?

Recommended Posts

Is there any drivers for the nForce 2 chipset onboard network adapter?

I have tried all the ones posted on various places on Neowin (even alpha ones from nvidia), and none have worked :( No good if I can't have an Internet connection with it :(

I'll leave it installe just wait until more drivers appear.

I have subscribed to this thread just incase any appear.

i got the nvidia beta drivers working on mine (abit nf7s)

NVIDIA nForce 6.14 Beta

your right vista is no use without the net (apart from maybe a little eye candy  ) shame my internet is not networked yet, just via some crappy modem that wont install...

by the way when i installed the nforce 2 AGP host to PCI bridge drivers, all the areo glass stuff dissapeared and it was all areo standard and 800x600- rolling back the driver did the trick

hope this helps

I got it working. Yeah, the 6.14 beta drivers work well. Sound and all works. Don't install the GART driver though. Now to find decent ATi drivers. The one included has some problems..

thanks a lot! This is the only driver version that i know that worked.

Installed it on my Shuttle XPC SN45Gv2 with nForce2

But careful: Just install the networking and the sound driver. Thats the save way to not kill your vista installation :)

i tried a bunch of drivers, and about 2 work. the problem with both of them is that i keep getting disconnected randomly from the network (happens every 5-120 seconds). i checked for IRQ conflicts and disabled a usb host that shared an irq, but that didn't help either.

any ideas?

I've installed them but I still can't connect to the net.

The connection is sitting in the network connections area, but is only sending data, not recieving. I have disabled all firewalls.
