jadkins555
I have a couple of minor issues that I would like solved if possible. First, when I play a video from a site like GameSpot, for example, I get the old Windows Media Player interface instead of the version 10 interface that Internet Explorer uses. Second, is there a way to disable when you type an address into the address bar and visited sites drop down automatically?
bangbang023 Veteran Posted July 30, 2005 Veteran Share Posted July 30, 2005 For media player, download the registry key and double click it to add it to your registry and then restart fx: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/resources/wmp9.reg It's named wmp9 but works with 10 also. jadkins555
tools > options > privacy > saved form information > uncheck. 586300059[/snapback] That doesn't effect the address bar though. All I have seen in the past is to make some history file read only and then Firefox won't do it, but that comes at the cost of having a non working history folder. I also tried the registry tweak but I looked in regedit and firefox.exe is already included in there.
