Is there a plugin extension for Firerfox that can be used

for shortcut urls, for instance if i pressed keys "ctrl + 0"

to load a desired url like that in "theWorld" browser?

You can do that with Windows. Drag n drop the link you want to the desktop. Right click and properties. Click where it says "Shortcut key" and hit the key or combination of keys you want.

Well I haven't seen or heard of an extension that can do that. You could also try giving each bookmark a keyword. Like Yahoo! being a "y", you type "y" in the address bar, hit enter and it goes to yahoo.com.
