Installing Vista (64-bit) on nf3 raid

Recommended Posts

When I go to install Vista it doesn't recognize my sata drives in raid-0. I've tried a few different drivers on a floppy including the ones that came with my mobo. It just says that it can't install the drivers.... Has anyone had this problem or figured out how to do it yet? I really want to try it out, it's driving me insane!!

I also had this problem under 32bit and 64bit. When you click on the Load Drivers link, it can't find them on the floppy.

Actually, I've read online (can't find the source) that Vista as of yet does not have support for RAID, and that you have to install it on IDE.

I tried it on an extra drive also and it said it wasn't sufficient for the temp files. The drive is 12 gb. And then it said a dll was missing and refused to install.

see here?

i think its written on the release notes that you cannot use storage drivers

"If you must load more than one storage driver during Setup by clicking Load driver, only select one driver at a time. To load more than one driver, add the first driver and click Next, then repeat the Load driver option for each additional driver."
