When you sign in to beta.microsoft.com, you will be asked to enter a Guest ID. Type in OneCare (case sensitive) to access the Windows OneCare beta nomination form.

Once your beta nomination is processed, you will receive a welcome e-mail with instructions for downloading and installing Windows OneCare Beta. Please allow 2-3 business days to receive your welcome e-mail.

Wait, what? Anti-virus....by Microsoft? That just sounds like a horrible idea.

But, if its not free, it would have to be subscription in order to support itself over the long run...

I think they should charge a one-time payment.

They can't and won't offer it for free. It doesn't make sense, anyway.
