greg098
Download CCleaner. It has a built in start up section which you can delete entries, just like the MSCONFIG in XP. Get it from here: http://www.ccleaner.com/

I8PP
You'll have go to the manual route this time. As far as i know, msconfig doesn't exist. Startup entries should be in the following: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

hotwire
ROFL ROFL ROFL that's how 1337 people can get but the only thing i can think of it's going to those startup directories manually
vintage_guitar
The Registry keys must be there somewhere because the XP version shows the startup programs on VISTA but whines about permissions
commando677
or you can just copy msconfig.exe over from XP just don't click on the boot.ini tab.

The same should work on MS Vista.

Copy \WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe from your Windows XP partition to your Vista Windows\System32 folder. Then you can normally click Start->Run and type msconfig
