Rikku
Ok so I recently burned Vista Beta 1 on a DVD and proceeded to install it in my secondary harddisk.... Installation seems to run smoothly; however, when I go to login the only accounts it gives me is the Administrator and Guest accounts. It never gave me a chance to set the administrator password, nor make my own account... So I cannot login! Does anyone know the default administrator password for Vista? Or has anyone had this problem before and know how to fix it? Thanks in advance!!
.fury
By default the admin account on my install didn't have a password...are you sure you can't just press enter and it'll log in? Or does it ask for a password? Bear in mind, even though no password was set, mine still showed a password box.
sunbiz_3000
Yes...it just shows the password box, but u can login directly....Also during the installation it didnt ask for the password for the admin (A very bad thing to done by MS) !!!

D1g1talMan
Well, considering this is mainly a windows enthuasist site, I would expect a disproportinate ammount of beta testers and engineers here. I believe there was a thread not too long ago asking who worked where. I couldn't help but notice the large number of network and sysadmins, programmers and developers. Alot of these people, (myself included) have or have access to an MSDN subscription. And the beta was avaiable to anyone with an MSDN subscription.
