inVision
Hi, I'm using Firefox 1.06 and have a problem with images... On some websites I don't see all images... they show up as filenames... when I rightmouseclick the "image" and select "View Image" Firefox will show the image like it should (the image has it's own tab then...) if I press the back button... the page renders again all images show as filenames exept the one image I used "View Image" on... that one will just show as it should... See image... Update: I forgot to mention that the website's where it happends (not always!) do work in Internet Explorer (it never happends there). bangbang023 Veteran Posted August 2, 2005 Veteran Share Posted August 2, 2005 What extensions do you have installed? I believe the problem may lie in one of them.
keithy397
Just a thought, check - Tools > Options > (Web) Content > 'Load Images' should be ticked and 'for the originating web site only' Unticked.

gur713
it might have to do with some of the settings in network tweak but i dotn know since ive never used it
bangbang023 Veteran Posted August 2, 2005 Veteran Share Posted August 2, 2005 One way to see if it's an extension is to disable all of them. If it works after that, re-enable them one by one until you can eliminate the broken one.

If it doesn't I will enable them one by one...

bangbang023 Veteran Posted August 3, 2005 Veteran Share Posted August 3, 2005 create a new profile and see if that fixes it, otherwise, you have some other sort of problem (probably some kind of av/firewall application).
inVision
Oh btw... It happends on my laptop and on my home computer and (using my laptop) on mutiple internet connections (home and girlfriends house)...
Simplex
In Firefox, images are replaced by their alt text when the images cannot be loaded. For some reason, you aren't able to view those images when loading the page for the first time. Go into safe mode (start -> Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox (safe mode)) and see if you can view those images. Yes, I know you can view them individually, but that just makes me think it is your internet connection.
