tmx220
Alright guys vista's running extremely nicely on my computer, i was wondering how to disable some startup items. I tried typing msconfig under run but no luck. I was also wondering if anybody knows of any services to disable and how to disable them to increase performance even more thx :p :D
tp2215
Almost all the new services that are included with vista are able to be disabled... for a little list check at http://tweakvista.com,, its under tweaks somewhere. As for msconfig.. its not included in vista for whatever reason, the only way to disable start up items is either through the registry or the startup folder in your start menu. tp2215
by the way,,, in order to disable services, its the same as in xp... just type in services.msc in your run box. then just double click the service and select disabled then ok.
