stockwiz
It it possible to disable windows security and just have the task manager pop up when control/alt/delete is pressed? All the other options on that menu are redundant, and having the whole screen taken up is unnecessary. Also, is it possible to disable fast user switching? Thanks. Edit: Meant to post this in the "vista" forum.. mods feel free to move it if you feel it necessary.
y_notm
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc instead. Microsoft appears to be going back to the default Windows 2000 Ctrl+Alt+Del (and Windows XP on domains) behavior in Vista
stockwiz
thanks for the tip. Other then the screen refresh rate changing everytime I lock my computer, access that strange redundant "security screen" or do other certain things, everything is running smoothly here... directx9 drivers installed right away with the radeon 9500 non pro, network drivers installed manually fine, turtle beach santa cruz sound drivers installed fine. I like the new internet explorer, but it's not moving me from my firefox because I have it so customized there's no way I could duplicate it with any other browser. Plus I don't like little pieces of my surfing and email activities left in the registry and hidden files, like internet explorer and outlook express like to do. No crashes at all so far, as long as I don't try to launch each folder window as a seperate process... that causes the system to freeze up so bad I have to restart. Very impressed for a beta, not complaining one bit :)
