Vista Beta 1, Dell 700m, Memory Reader

Recommended Posts

I am running the Vista Beta 1 on a Dell 700m, and I am not able to use the memory card reader on the side. It says a driver didn't install. Anyone have this working? I talked to a dell rep on the dell chat, and he provided me with a link to a driver, but I was unable to get the link because the window closed!!

Anyone have a solution? The memory reader is a Texas Instruments PCI7420 device.

Yep that was the first thing I tried...It partially installs it, but then it still says it has a problem during the installation. I gave it a try anyways, stuck my sd card in, and it just never finds it.

Ok Cool, here is what I get when it tries to install the latest Dell drivers they have on their site. It looks like their drivers are specifically for XP
