Deron Dantzler
I want my system watercooled. I f*cking purchased a Volcano 7+ and my P4 1.4 (Socket 478) is still at damn 54 degrees. What do I need to watercool? A detailed guide of some sort. That video shows what to do, but not what to buy etc. I need some kinda kit w/ some instructions. username
first I would try to improve your current cooling setup because it should be suffice. What is your case temp? The Volcano 7 can do no good if its trying to cool the CPU with hot air. Try better case circulation, do you have any case fans? Also are you using thermal compond or the pad that came with the heatsink?

Deron Dantzler
i have 3 case fans. one pulling air in from the front bottom, one blowing air up from the bottom of the case in the center, and one pulling air out of the top of the case. i just modded the case to do this. the case temp is 38 degrees. i put thermal compound on the cpu before adding the volcano 7+, but it still sux and the system overheats. (i think watercooling would be cool anyway)

Deron Dantzler
strange the case doesn't feel like it's 100 degrees. it's quite cool in here. room temp is at 20 degrees celsius. maybe i need more airflow to the case or something?
