H3lix
I do not know about you guys but lately I have been getting pop-ups in FF and it is very annoying... I came across this site http://www.petebevin.com/archives/2005/03/...fox_popups.html, explains how to stop some of these pop-ups. SORRY IF THIS IS OLD! Helix

rschultz2002
Good find but I like this one better. NoScript NoScript provides extra protection for your Mozilla Firefox browser: this extension allows JavaScript execution only for trusted domains of your choice (e.g. your home-banking web site). This whitelist based pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even not known yet!) with no loss of functionality... You can enable JavaScript execution for sites you trust with a simple left-click on the NoScript status bar icon (look at the picture), or using the contextual menu, for easier operation in popup statusbar-less dialog. Staying safe has never been so easy!. Experts will agree: Firefox is really safer with NoScript :-) 1.1.1 is out! Main good news: * Kill everything that moves: advanced options to forbid Java?, Flash? and other plugins (Firefox only) * Customizable message position * Customizable audio sample for feedback
Pulaski
How well does the first one work. And are things you want frequently blocked?

IceDogg
Good find but I like this one better. NoScript 586334348[/snapback] Yep, this kills all plugins for a site until you allow the site to run them. Makes things many times safter. Never see popups
