Custom Windows Etched w/ cold cathode.

Recommended Posts

I got my cold cathode. Then I realize that I have to space to place the cathode. The back got blocked by the fan. The bottom is the PC speaker. Top have no room only 2mm short. So the only place I could place the cold cathode is the front. Oh well, look ok I guess.

What do you guys think?

Thank you all for your inputs.

Sure it looks nice, but was there the need of starting another thread and not using the one regarding your window?

I wonder if I should get off two fans from my pc to cut a window instead... :ponder:

Pretty sweet Lezend. Now you have to install a window and etch mine! Heh... actually, as soon as I pay off a :s large bill... I plan to finally do my case. Cheiftec Dragon Alluminum w/ blue leds, string light in the front vent, blue led fans all over and a blue led lit power supply. [le Sigh] Even with good deals, in all I'm looking around $500 when done.

Question though, did you have the store cut the plexi for you or did you do it yourself? This is where I've been hesitant as plexi tends not to be cheap (though I might go with actual glass (I forget the name but its extremely hard glass) and have it precut/drilled).

If you guys custom design your etch, do some researching. Put something meaningful rather then just same old like everyone else.

Thanks for the input. I am very happy with the outcome. I will go to the long beach lan party in august 16. That why I sweeten my case up a bit.

Have fun.
