#Michael
It finds my card and installs the drivers but I get no sound. It is a card based on via's envy24 chip. 7.1 sourround sound. Anyone know where to get some drivers that actually work with vista for that chipset?
ulukai_nl
I actually used the Windows XP drivers, which worked fine on Nforce 4 SLI board. No warnings, no BSOD, they were however WHQL (for Windows XP)

blobblob
I've got sound partially working with envy24 onboard sound. The sounds ok as long as I'm not doing anything else, even opening up IE or something will cause it to stutter, I've only tried in WMP10 and Winamp so far though. I'm using drivers from the Shuttle site which are meant to be used for the SN25P, http://ftp.shuttle.com/Drivers/new/sn25p/c...io%20driver.zip but I tried the latest ones from the Via site too. CodeThief
I've got my Soundblaster 5.1 Making noises :D Not sure it's 5.1 (haven't bothered checking yet), but at least the interface sound effects work :) I just extracted the contents of the "LiveDrvUni-Pack(ENG).exe" and pointed it to the XP drivers folder. golazo
after my vista install everything was working fine, the only drivers i needed were my speedtouch adsl modem drivers from winxp and it worked fine. so i guess i was one of the lucky ones lol
gameniac85
I have an Audigy 2 ZS and I can get drivers to install, but it plays nothing but garble and static. I am not even sure where to start. I have looked elsewhere for help, but have found nothing yet. Sound is the only thing I don't have working, all my applications work fine.

Whats weird is that it pops from normal, to no sound all the way to garble, really weird. I can literally play an Mp3 and it starts garble and static, stop it and play it again and it will play fine with no problems. I could understand if it didn't work at all, but this on off, half working is killing me because its keeping me attached to Vista instead of going back to XP.
