LeadTek Gf4 Ti's... Low Price. Why?!?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I can't manage to find ANY ENGLISH reviews on the Leadtek A250 LE TD (geforce4 ti4200 128mb)...

I want to know why is it as such a low price those cards? I'm currently checking one store and that card costs 273 CAN and for example the same brand geforce4 ti4600 565 CAN...

why?!? something wrong? or trying to kill the competition to be on top of best sellers?!

thx in advance ;)

you haven't heard yet? the ti4200 is all the rage now because it's so cheap in comparison to the 4600 and still cheaper than the 4400s...and yet it's fully directx 8.1 compliant and blah blah blah

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1643

that'll give you a few reviews on the ti4200 series, and i think tom's hardware has some info on them too...price/performance ratio is optimal :D

I was talking about the prices of the leadteks gf4 IN GENERAL comparing to other brands...

maybe I'l see why they are cheap (in $$$).

thx again

[edit] erm... leadtek aren't in that roundup... [/edit]

can I wait anymore with this gf2mx400? :right:

I know the nv30 gf5 will arrive soon, and my strategy with vid cards is staying one generation back.

yeah, sorry about that, i was gonna mention it wasn't in that review; i just meant it as an intro into the ti4200s in general.

but as far as the price of a leadtek....it seems to be right in there with all the other ti4200 cards. i see eVGA, Gainward and MSI cards all at about the same price...under $200 U.S.
