Been using it for 1 day now on my Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2 laptop... took some time to make Glass work, cause nvidia's driver does not support GeForces Go by default. I even managed to make sound work, by installing XPs drivers. My built in bubwoofer's not working, but who cares - beta is supposed to act like that, I'm happy that i have sound!

Works great for me so far, but the theme gets to you after a while. Both Aero and Aero Glass are a little hard on the eyes.

I just reinstalled XP on this machine also after being Linux only for a while. So I'm sticking with XP mostly.

I'm waiting on Vista Beta1 SP1.

Seriously: I'm waiting on proper Nvidia-drivers, and Creative soundblaster drivers. When i get that i will use Vista again.

Never got the sound going but I had installed as a dual boot for about a week. I currently have it uninstalled but made a vitual disk image so I can load it back up in about ten minutes.

Same for me too. Since I couldn't find proper driver for my old but trustwothy SBLive and get only basic sounds with XP drivers I turned back to XP. I admit it is only beta and think will wait till a further improved beta version.

[Thread Cleaned]

As far as Neowin is concerned, the only way to "aquire" the Vista beta is through MSDN or other official sources.
