_R2D2
So today I did a format and fresh install of XP and firefox. Restored all settings with mozbackup. So then I went to torrentspy to get ubuntu, a search for linux just works as usual. And then I searched for guitar to get this guitarpro package with 22000 songs (not the actual program). Then I get a "firefox doesn't respond" blabla. List of extensions: Buemenot 062 Sessionsaver 2 PDF download IE view 124 Flashblock Countdownclock Allow Right click. I have java disabled and javascript enabled. Anyone knows how to fix this? This is firefox 1.0.6. Swedish btw.
Danny Weed
You can just get Ubuntu from the official site, it's a http link so it'll proberbly be faster  Oo! I didn't evan read it properly  When you say 22000 songs, does it list them? The page might be too big?

And the 22000 songs are just a zip file anyway (and for the warez cops, not the actual songs, just guitarpro-files).

It's been known to cause problems with other plugins that block content, like Flashblock. Disable either one temporarily and see if the crashes stop. _R2D2
I don't know why, but this problem is gone now. Maybe it was just pending windows updates that needed restart or something. But thanks for all help anyway.
