0 hurting101
Get this app: SpaceMonger from: http://www.werkema.com/software/spacemonger.html Have it scan C: (or whatever windows is installed on), then click the double Windows folder, then System32 (not in Explorer, in SpaceMonger). You'll graphically see what's wasting your space. BTW, this app is freeware.

0 Martog
Is it good that my LastGood and LastGood.tmp folders in my Windows directory take up like 600MB total? =P Can I safely delete these folders? I was able to get rid of 2.6GB elsewhere on the C: drive after turning system restore off which somehow turned itself back on, must have when I installed/uninstall SP1.. Those files are for the "Last Known Good Configuration" option on boot. Basically, if something really bad happens and the system can't boot (I think is has something to do with drivers), you have a safety net.

I leave my System Restore settings alone, even though I dont use them (some day they may come in handy) On my drives its at 12% (default) so about 9159MB on C: and 2335MB on my backup drive (should maybe disable it on this one) Anyway my Windows folder is 1.44GB in size and System32 is 989MB This is with all updates from WindowsUpdate except the MovieMaker update
