Guest deadzombie
Set it on fire. Not good for long term usage, but it's a great story to tell people...

Guest deadzombie
The gear is great. The title of this thread is "What should I do with my system?"... I'm just giving a suggestion. I'd say video card, but nVidia has a new chipset coming soon. So next step would be monitor. That 17" is quite small...go 19 or 21. You'll thank me. Of course, setting the whole thing on fire would be ALOT of fun.
jago6498
Ditch the P4 setup and get an AthlonXP. Plus u don't have to worry about memoy issue of pairing the memory and wasting 2 RAM slots.

KiwiNZ
Save your money , keep what you have , there is not a App, Game or what ever that your machine will have probs with . Granted you wont get a Zillion frames per nano second in Q3 but anything above 60fps is wasted anyway.

jago6498
No not really, check Pricewatch , an OEM Audigy isn't expensive. Check this out from Cnetpc.com . It comes out to about $60. Most of the software they give you with a retail card is crap anyways. It may have a 90-day warranty but it isn't like your gonna overclock your sound card or anything. You also might want to change that mouse too. Get either a Logitech Optical Mouse or Microsoft Intellimouse. I've the Intellimouse Explorer 1.0 for over 3 years with no problems. Get at least a 60gb hard drive. Drives are getting cheaper and cheaper everyday. But make sure you get a 7,200RPM and not a 5,200RPM. You can get a 60gb drive for under $90 from Cnetpc.com. I bought 90% of my hardware from this site last year. You can also check Newegg.com.

Sparks! Pops! Maybe even a small explosion!! If only we could capture the smell of it burning...
MaxPayne1357
and if he really wants to show everyone how crazy he is he could rig his system up with a whole bunch of explosives and set it off in front of his friends on the 4rth of july!! :right:
