kawai Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 It clearly said it failed DX9 tests tricking window thinking is a 9500 is no good to you when windows actually starts up DWM and calls for DX9 API, your card won't able to do anything. mickydej Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 Hello this really works with hardware acceleration enabled.. i have no freakin` idea how i did it but i've made a registry dump and i will try to isolate my changes and make a redistry patch of some sort. here`s a screenshot of what my Vista says about the Display adaper and works fine with WDM. mickydej Posted August 9, 2005 Author Share Posted August 9, 2005 Kawai there you`re right but i do not want the "nice" effects ! all i wanted to do is get a new windows version which runs faster and have it running in 1280x1024 with hardware support. That support was not enabled after i installed the freaking radeon 9200 se drivers... everywhere i looked people sayd it will never suport that resolution.. and what i'm saying is that i've prooved them wrong :).
