Deckhand
Is there any way where I can import a small clip, of a counter-strike demo, into flash? If so how would I do it? And if not, how would I convert it to mpg, or avi format? thanks --deck
0 thingsforjason
easy way would be to run the tv out and record it, then run it back in...if you've got some DV equipment the quality wouldn't be that bad...
0 Dazzla Veteran Posted July 3, 2002 Veteran Share Posted July 3, 2002 It all depends on what you've got the format in at the moment. I'm pretty sure flash can import movie files by going to file - import or file - import to library. Moved to software assistance.

I've never heard of that before. when you record a CS demo, it saves it in .dem format therefore, you have to play it in Counter-strike itself
0 threetonesun
yeah, .dem isn't going to cut it. You need some sort of movie file for flash. Would help if your video card to screen recording...that would make your life easy.
0 Dazzla Veteran Posted July 3, 2002 Veteran Share Posted July 3, 2002 Try this: http://www.planetfortress.com/hlmp/tutorial.asp?ID=83 When it's an .avi you then have the option of creating a flash file.
