I was accepted into the program! It's my first time beta-testing, and I don't even remember applying for this, but all is well. I recently installed it and am giving it a try.

They didn't mail me any diskettes or anything else. They just sent me an e-mail with a product key, telling me where to download it.

You know.. I never really understand why people get to receive CDs and some don't. For example, I haven't been notified that I will receive the CD. All they say is to install it off the web.

Same here. Maybe they treat previous beta testers better or something?

Jake, Im currious ...

How did the thing make your system faster?

Did you uninstall any programs first, or did the optimizations in OneCare seem to increase your system speed?

Wow. It just said it found an infected file which contained a trojan downloader. That's odd. Repeated AV scans from NAV never found anything.

(similar experience to what bangbang said)

Plus, I don't know where I could have gotten that from. Oh well, it said it was unable to clean the file, so it placed it into quarantine.

I received an email with product key. And a few days later, I received the a package that contained the CD, and two blank cd-r's for backing up my system. The 2 cdkeys the gave me were not the same. So now I can test on my laptop and desktop! :D

No, it has to do with your grouping. Some groups get it in the mail and some are asked to download it. This is to test both methods of installation thoroughly.
