yisman
I was accepted into the program! It's my first time beta-testing, and I don't even remember applying for this, but all is well. I recently installed it and am giving it a try. They didn't mail me any diskettes or anything else. They just sent me an e-mail with a product key, telling me where to download it. yisman
You know.. I never really understand why people get to receive CDs and some don't. For example, I haven't been notified that I will receive the CD. All they say is to install it off the web. 586292796[/snapback] Same here. Maybe they treat previous beta testers better or something? Did you uninstall any programs first, or did the optimizations in OneCare seem to increase your system speed? - Dark
yisman
Wow. It just said it found an infected file which contained a trojan downloader. That's odd. Repeated AV scans from NAV never found anything. (similar experience to what bangbang said) Plus, I don't know where I could have gotten that from. Oh well, it said it was unable to clean the file, so it placed it into quarantine.

Erekigitaa
I received an email with product key. And a few days later, I received the a package that contained the CD, and two blank cd-r's for backing up my system. The 2 cdkeys the gave me were not the same. So now I can test on my laptop and desktop! :D

This is to test both methods of installation thoroughly.
