Insane Kiwi interpreted the thread itself, the ALL CAPS used in describing the problem, and the fact that someone commented that the problem was *annoying*, as a sign that the thread starter and the posters had lost sight of the fact that IE 7 is a Beta.

Kiwi interpreted this thread as an act of surprise. So did I.

It's all in the tone, people, ease up on Kiwi.

At some point, Kiwi also had 489 and 546 posts, respectively.

I'm also pretty sure that a good chunk of Kiwi's posts consist of him helping others, like you. Of course, reminding you that IE 7 is still a Beta might be the best advice he could have given someone who has chosen to actually take the time to install a buggy Beta and then complain about its shortcomings on Neowin . . . now that we're on the topic of LIVES.

Of course, if you're an actual Beta tester, you'd be filing bug reports directly with Microsoft, which would be the smart and obvious thing to do.

1. I am a beta tester

2. You sound like Kiwis gf, get off his jock.

3. Check the forums, and tell this to EVERYONE in the beta rooms. longhorn rooms, etc ... that installing buggy betas is a waste of time.

4. Im not or never did complain about it. Re-read the title of this thread. It's asking about a specific problem.

5. If all your going to do is post replies like this, go away, make your own thread called "I like to flame, because Im bored and have no answers to legitimate questions", and while your at it, give Kiwi a kiss for me.

Loves,

Darck Circuit.

See, there I go again, branding people guilty by assocaition. I've failed to clarify my bitchslap:

1.) It's not a problem that you started an IE 7 bug thread. Indeed, that is, as you say, what this whole forum is for.

and things would have been just fine, had you not:

2.) repeated barneyt's stupid insult.

Draiken, on the other hand, seems very new to this, and that's alright.

So really, you and barneyt are still the problem in all this, despite the fact that I didn't clarify my position originally.

So I apologize for not making it clear exactly *how* you were being a dick.

And by the way, I'm finished with this particular issue. I've had my say.

SELF RESTRAINT EDIT: Watch your punk ass mouth talking about bitch slaps kid.

EDIT: I digress, this is not a flame thread, and your not providing assistance in it. What are you here for again? If you have a problem, PM me. If not, post something meaningful, and keep your mouth flapping with helpful goodness, .. if you dont want to help solve a problem, then you are the problem.

I'm assuming you mean the actual "Explorer" file-manager in Vista, and not the "Internet Explorer" browser, just to be clear.

I referred to it as well, only to re-read the entire thread and find that nowhere in the first post was there any mention of "internet", lol.

In any case, you might try to reinstall it.

Draiken: post your hardware specs.

Reinstalling it does nothing. The OS installed perfectly.

It's a strange IE bug. Since it happens with other systems, Im wondering what is causing this.
