I'm a vegetarian, I try to be vegan as much as I possibly can. Just wondering how many members are Veg*.

Oh and I would hope that this would go without saying...but please keep the discussion polite. There's a difference between debating and flaming, know that difference.

meat eater. I don't eat alot of red meat, and slabs of meat sicken me. I generally eat chicken and fish. I tried to be vegitarian due to health, but soy products were giving me migranes. :(

I've heard quite bad things about soy. Isn't it carcinogenic?

(kinda throws my intial post in the dirt by saying that :p )

I don't think it's immoral to eat meat (as long as it's not human). I'll eat just about anything I'm served, so I think that makes me a "good guest". But I tend to go for low fat and low sugar (and minimally processed) foods when I am cooking for myself.

I'm a Octo-Lovo Vegeterian for health reasons, I have an occasional egg and the only dairy product I use is organic cheese, soy cheese just isn't right, but soy everything else dairy. :D

I'm wondering do the veg-heads here go mostly organic?

Meat Eater for health reasons (humans need proteins that are only found in red meat and other types of animal meat).

It is actually bad for most people to just be a vegetarian ... vegan is even worse for you. I am just stating my opinion which is based on people who I know are vegetarians and vegans and are definitely under-nourished and scientific fact (it's good to have a fiancee who's major is nursing).

I eat vegies and meat, plus fruit. I didnt know which option to choose so i picked Omnivore. I agree with Jstphish. I am a body builder and You need both.

I'm not. If I were, it'd just be for nutritional reasons. I think animals are okay to kill in order to eat and survive, that's just how I believe our world and eco system was meant to work. All with moderation of course, as I do not really carefor widespread slaughter of animals to bring a steak or chicken breast to my plate. But, something many people forget, is when you drink orange juice, that was squeezed out of an orange, which could of grown into an orange tree. Plants are living creatures as well, so that's somewhat like drinking something that cost a few baby pigs to create.
