I dunno why you said if people had to kill what you ate there would be more vegetarians. I mean think of it, everyone killed their own food. I highly doubt in the 1800s ppl went to walmart for their meat.

Saying being vegetarian for health reasons is a big crock. Who says you wouldn't eat those ho-hos dingdongs, krispy kremes and what not.

Eating a lot of soy isn't good for you, it produces estrogen when broken down.

Being vegetarian is a high carbohydrate diet, while eating meat is a higher fat diet. Whatever floats your boat I say

I'm an Octo-Lavo Vegetarian.

For those of you that don't know what that means

basically i eat no chicken, fish, or other animals but i do have dairy products.

My reasoning for that is bc vegan is too hard for me to go to but this way i'm at least

helping somewhat to help them.

I became a vegetarian because of animals.

I've been one for almost 13 years now.

Started at 9 and i'm now almost 22.

Was my own descion, as my whole family didn't agree with doing that sort of thing.

when i became vegetarian i did it not because i dont like the killing of animals but because i dissaprove of animal cruelty if im going to eat an animal id rather it has enjoyed its life than not but now i wont eat any meat just because i see it aswrong and on winterhazes point about not being helpful family wise when i started about 6 months ago they where nothing but supportive and there all meat eating thats made it so much easier for me

I eat anything I want because humans are the dominant animal species and are able to create tools to capture and process other animals.

to summarize, I'm "Better" than other things (ie carrots, pigs, cats, lobster, spiders, maple trees) so I can eat them. It's my choice.

I love meat. Every time someone from PETA tries to hand me something, I take it and throw it out as they watch. A few times I've gotten meat and eaten it in front of PETA tents, too.
