Clipboard problems in Firefox 1.0.6

Recommended Posts

OK, I have 2 very annoying problems with Firefox 1.0.6

Every now and then, I loose the ability to copy/paste. I haven't found a triggering event and it seems to occur randomly. On top of that, if I enable the option ?Begin finding when you begin typing?, also on a random basis, I get that weird situation where I can't type in an input box as FF will start to search for text inside the page and take cursor out of the box.

Actually, I have another problem... If I highlight some text and drag and drop it in the search box, I almost certainly crash FF.

Since I'm guessing these problems might be extension related, here's a list of my installed extensioFlashgot 0.5.9.7

forecastfox 0.8.1.2

ie view 1.2.4

sage 1.3.5

download manager tweak 0.6.6

adblock plus 0.5.9

mouse gestures 1.0.1

flatstyle 0.9.1.3

tab mix 0.2.2.3

Thanks a bunch:D; :D

I found out that if you open up the download dialog box that it retuirns to normal.

I will try to see if opening the download windows does the trick...

Do you have the download manager tweak installed?

Nope, I just did it by accident. I had the same sort of problem with Deer Park alpha 2 and I just opened up the download window and closed it and it worked :/

Perhaps you were still focused on another tab and instead tried to copy and paste something nonexistent from that tab while looking at another one? I say this from experience.

Thanks for the tip, but trust me on that, it is not what is happening to me. Even right-clicking on a selected text don't get the selection in the clipboard.
