JodyWatts
I searched and can't find anything on Neowin about this. I did a google search and found this: Adblock Plus builds on top of the last official release of Adblock seen here. Here are the main things Adblock Plus adds. For a full changelog see this. * Whitelisting, prefix your filters with "@@" to allow an item normally blocked by another filter through. Credit to OneStop. * Synchronization (import) with filter file on website or hard drive using URL. Can be synchronized manually or automatically. * Ability to block DIV sections allowing a much greater range of images to be blocked. Credit to Rueschi. * Can hide ads on a per site basis instead of globally. Now an option under Adblock's menu. * Choice of displaying a status bar icon or toolbar button as well as the status bar text. I was hoping to get some more / detailed information if possible and also like to know which my fellow Neowin members are using. Thanks
IceDogg
It has been posted before HERE but it's got a little out of date, and didn't have a poll. I use it as it seems the old makers of adblock have abandoned it. They didn't even bump the last version so it could be ran on the nightlys like they use to do. To me that's not a good sign. I hope I'm wrong. Anyway, Adblock plus is what I use now.
nsane.de!
yes, adblock plus is better, because i can support sites, i visit often like planetauek.de and neowin.net with not blocking their adds
xGo
i still use ad block, too lazy to install Plus and configurate it, probably will do so when 1.1 or what's next version of FF coming out...
gur713
the sync option is virtually useless now because of the extension fileterset g updater however i like the better support and bugfixes provided by adblockPlus

I had to uninstall adblock first. I didn't know it at the time. I'm not sure if this is your problem or not, but I thought I would mention it, just in case. xGo
lol too lazy :>you don't have to configurate much options, only some ... this can be made in 2 minutes ;) Because i would have to import/export my rules list from adblock into adblock plus...-right?!? But i don't want to do that, cause i wanna start over and build it even more tighter, but that means i would have to start building the list from scratch that's why i said i'm lazy to configurate it, cause making a list that covers all the sites i want with out ads, plus making white list that covers the sites i want with ads, etc is not 2 mins job unless i would import somebody else's job and then get some of my bookmarks blocked and would spend even longer time trying to find the filter i need to delete in order to view the site
gur713
adblock plus uses the same pref, or at least the most common so u wouldnt need to import anything if you already have adblock configured then u dont realy have to do much unless you want some whitelist and although it is usefull it will be use in few occasions
