Help! Vista running slow, so does the system clock

Recommended Posts

Just installed vista, but it's running very slow. The system clock is slower than in XP too. Every second in vista equals about 5 seconds in real world. I checked cpu and mem usage, nothing unsual. Anyone having the same problem? Is it caused by an incompatible system / video bios?

My PC:

XP1800+/Epox 8k3A/512 Ram/R9550
