sabwafare2001
I have a 1.0Ghz AMD Athlon t-bird cpu. I wanted to buy an Athlon XP 1800+ or 1700+ off of ebay. Anything above an XP 1800+ be be a little too expensive. The motherboard I have supports these cpu also. I just want to know is it worth buying one of these processors, considering what I already have? If not, what would be something good to get for under $100. thingsforjason
sure why not! :D you'll get a faster processer that runs a bit cooler...and an extended feature set on the processor... it's just harder to unlock so you can overclock...i haven't done that to my 1600+ yet. unless you've got something else you're thinking about upgrading, and you've got the money, i don't see why you couldn' buy that processor.
