nightRider
I decided to fool around with Vista on VMWare but there seems to be a problem. I booted the Virtual Machine up with the iso in the CD slot and the Windows is unloading files progress bar loaded up but then the screen went black and stayed that way. Anybody know what's wrong? The iso worked perfectly when i installed vista on my HD...

Hurmoth
Yeah, I had the same problem with VMware, but it works just fine with Virtual PC.
Quarzimodo
I've tried to install Windows Vista Beta 1 on Virtual PC 2004 SP1 and all I've got was a blackscreen after loading the files. Here's what I did: 1.) Create a new virtual machine 2.) As OS I've selected "Windows XP" 3.) I've selected the recommended Memorysize of 128 MB 4.) I've created a new virtual hard disk. Then I've started the virtual machine, inserted the Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 1 DVD in my DVD-Drive and hit the Enter-Button on my Keyboard. Vista started to load the files and hung up with a blackscreen.
