null_
With Fast User Switching enabled, users' names appear beside the clock. Is there any way I can change the names to a simple icon, such as a person (to save space, I've seen it done before), and move it to the left of the clock, next to the Volume icon? Sorry, I'm a bit of a OS X "n00b" so to speak. Don't know my way around this OS fully. Thanks in advance for any help.

PureLogic
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger has that feature by default, maybe you should upgrade? :)
exthuse
That's true, but I don't have Tiger, and I've no plans to upgrade just yet. I don't see anything big that I need to have in Tiger. Dashboard? Nope, I've got Amnesty and Konfab. Automator? I don't need it Spotlight? Quicksilver please.
