Just wondering. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I suggest visiting the Guides sub-forum and checking out threads which have names like "speeding up firefox" etc.

I haven't decided to yet, because I've heard that although there is a slight speed increase, it might overload servers if everyone does it.

I use some tweeks, but not the connection ones. I don't want to over burden any websites by using that tweek. Seems to be the same either way on those tweeks to me anyway.

Just piplelining turned on for me. But all other connection limits at default, including pipelining max requests. Jus turn on pipelining and thats it. I used to use custom variables for all the connection limits but have found that the default values are actually a little faster for me.

Just the about:config

All utilities I've seen so far that are designed to improve FFX's speed just mess with those settings anyway. Better to do it manually and save myself the harddrive space.

I use the tweak network settings extension...it makes changing the pipelining and the network settings easy and you can put back the defaults if you wish.
