yashiro
I'm almost ready to release an Internet Explorer 6 addon and I need some help: a few testers someone to donate some web/ftp space. The release is basically a new version of the old web accessories that were released by microsoft. Yes, some of the work is based on that unsupported original code. It's all straight html/jscript (no activex controls are installed) It will come with an install/uninstall routine. The following tools will all add to your right click menu: .zoom in/out (original MS scaling bug fixed) .list all links in current page (disappearing window bug fixed +minor changes) .text highlighter (small change) .jump to Google Translator .search for highlighted text using Google .search for highlighted text in Google news groups .check links on page (w3c.org) .validate the page source @ w3c.org Are there any suggestions? I'd like to make it a Neowin branded release..um 'neowin web tools' or something.. if that's OK - Neobond? Thanks,

0 hurting101
Sounds pretty cool. Suggestion: Make a way to hide/show certain menu items.

0 hurting101
Like this: Instead of everyone having to see all the menu items (some people won't need all them), have a list of checkboxes or something to show / hide vertain items. EG: (full menu) Zoom In Zoom Out List Links Search Search Newsgroups Check links View source (customized menu) Zoom In Zoom Out Search Search Newsgroups ...so the user can define which items they want to see. Suggestion II: Don't make the menu items long, so the text extends the menu in width. EG: Instead of "List all links on current page" use "List all links" or even "List links". Then, there's no wide menus.

Done! The installer lets you either :.install ALL tools; .install Google tools only; .install Web author tools only; .custom install; Suggestion II: Don't make the menu items long, so the text extends the menu in width. EG: Instead of "List all links on current page" use "List all links" or even "List links". Then, there's no wide menus. Noted. Yeah this annoys me too. Question
yashiro
I'm almost ready to release an Internet Explorer 6 addon and I need some help:
a few testers
someone to donate some web/ftp space.
The release is basically a new version of the old web accessories that were released by microsoft.
Yes, some of the work is based on that unsupported original code.
It's all straight html/jscript (no activex controls are installed)
It will come with an install/uninstall routine.
The following tools will all add to your right click menu:
.zoom in/out (original MS scaling bug fixed)
.list all links in current page (disappearing window bug fixed +minor changes)
.text highlighter (small change)
.jump to Google Translator
.search for highlighted text using Google
.search for highlighted text in Google news groups
.check links on page (w3c.org)
.validate the page source @ w3c.org
Are there any suggestions?
I'd like to make it a Neowin branded release..um 'neowin web tools' or something.. if that's OK - Neobond?
Thanks,
