mcb
To: anyone with an MSI geforce4 ti4200 card... what are the max refresh rates on it? i saw a chart with 120hz max @ 1024x768, but for a lot of other cards it was 240 or something? is this a misprint or true? please tell me what refresh rates you can get at 1024x768
manroweb
Yeh the MSI GF4 Ti4200-128MB TD/TD64 (MS-8870 ) has a refresh rate of: 1024x768 8/16/32 bit colors with 120Hz See here for more info on this card The Chaintech GF4 Ti4200128mb -A-GT20/21 has refresh rate of: 1024x768 8/16/32 bit colors with 200Hz See here for more info on this card There are other cards which will have different refresh rates. This is all down to the manufacturers budget for the individual card. Visit the links above, to see that there are a few differences in the cards. :)
paulladle
I would have though that the extreme refresh rates are to some extent irrelevant as you're much more likely to be limited by your monitor?
manroweb
Yes that is very true! Don't think i know of any monitors that can refresh at 200hz. 120hz is probably possible on some monitor out there!! No doubt someone will prove me wrong by posting about a monitor that can refresh at 200hz......LOL :)
