NetRyder
Jon Galloway has a great post today that shows you how to run IE 7 Beta 1 without actually installing it on your system. All you have to do is extract the files in the installer using WinRAR, delete the SHLWAPI.DLL file, and create a new blank text file called IEXPLORE.exe.local in the same folder. This allows you to run IE 7 Beta 1 in "local mode" alongside IE 6 on your XP SP2 setup. Very cool tip! :) http://weblogs.asp.net/jgalloway/archive/2.../12/422335.aspx

AJerman
Interesting. I hadn't really messed with Internet Explorer 7 on XP yet, however I have heard much bad publicity about it. I might have to give this a try so I can use IE6 should I encounter any problems.

Denyse
I am using a similar trick to use IE7 (I am running it now). It is not the best thing since sliced bread, but is is nice to see that there is something new to come out, and to also discover what was "borrowed" from other browsers. Good to have.
