crimsonhead
For some reason, the drive that I have installed Vista on, has a weird icon. The large icon is the setup icon and the small icon is the "A" icon. Any ideas on how to make it the normal drive icon? Setup icon /\ "A" icon /\ And there are no programs in the V drive with that icon. Im stumped :pinch: Edited August 17, 2005 by crimsonhead

The drive will automatically make any file called Setup.exe in the main path (X:\) have the icon of the setup installer. It will also make the drive have the icon of Setup.exe. This will only go away if the drive is ejected (its meant for ROM drives). Anyone know which file controls replacing the setup.exe icon with the windows one? And i may try to make a program called Setup.exe in XP and make it have the icon of a drive and copy it into X:\ before booting into vista.
