Recommended Posts

Today, all beta testers of the Windows Installer 6.2 beta program received e-mails saying that Roger Holland, one of the Beta Managers for Microsoft's BetaPlace and the Installer 6.2 beta manager, has found a new opportunity in his career.

This is how it looks like:

Dear Beta Tester,

Greetings.

After having the distinct pleasure of working four beta programs with you, I am leaving to take on a new opportunity. Across this year, I have been regularly impressed, and sometimes amazed, at the depth of knowledge held by you testers, and the considerable time and effort you are willing to devote to testing in these betas!

Thank you for making these betas successful and, for me, enjoyable!!

Atul Sikaria has stepped in as the beta manager for our beta. Please give him all the consideration and good humor that you have accorded me. Should you need to contact him, please use asikaria@microsoft.com.

Warmest regards,

Roger Holland"

Atul Sikaria is the new Beta Manager for Installer 6.2 and will replace Roger Holland. All beta testers of the Installer 6.2 have received this email.
