Whatever the maximum resolution listed in the display settings will be the maximum resolution ur monitor officially supports, u could try hacking the ini file that holds the resolution to let u go higher, but thats majorly not recommended

You should have searched google for that information or the manufacturers site.

The maximum is 1600 x 1200 @ 65, which will prob not look great with that refresh rate, it might to you however.

Also that resolution on a 17 inch monitor is not ideal.

Curious - why not just try it and see what you think?? It is your videocard, monitor and your eyes.

I have run at 1600x1200 on a 17" - and I liked it, but went back to 1280x1024 due to system could not support that res at hz I wanted.

Its all a matter of personal perference - you might be ok with it running at 75 or 60hz, etc.. Then next guy might not, he may want 85 or even 120 - etc..

I personally think that 1024x768 should be the obsolute min res, but I see people running 800x600 on a 19" mon all the time - drives me nuts!! Damn waste of good hardware :) Its like trying to read with your nose touching the page! Can see like three words across the page. If your that blind - get some glasses or contacts - hehehe

My 2 cents,
