Ram Question

hi,

i was just wondering... which is the "better" type of ram: (pc 2700-3200) ddr ram OR pc-800 RDRAM?

and what would u say is the best type of ram out on the market now? money is no object

I wouldn't say you are screwing yourself since the tested performance difference is nill, and in some tests DDR beats it, but if I owned a P4 i would still get the fastest RAMBUS membory.

Rdram is the fastest ram, but intel is the only chipset that uses it. I believe the fastest meory bus is 1000mhz or something like that they make. The whole reason I dont use Rdram is because its not a standard, Anti competition practices Rambus practiced, and Royalties they charge other companies to produce there ram(50-100million a year). Why you think Crucial doesn't produce RDRam?
